2. To teach safe outdoor skills as a means for personal growth, lifelong fitness, and recreation.
3. To challenge members to expand beyond their personal boundaries and self-imposed limitations,
4. To promote environmental responsibility and awareness so as to enjoy the environment while conserving it.
